After The End Of The World: Part I

There are many prophecies and predictions for when and how the end of the world will come upon us.  It could be anything from diseases, to natural disasters, all the way to astronomical distortions from space.  But let's look at how the world may be after the end of humanity.

If the entire human race wasn't extinct, there would be no laws, we would be thrown back into the dawn of man again to restart the eveolutionary process all over again.  We would then possibly be led to extinction if all the animals were no longer around.  If plant life were destroyed, there would be no oxygen left to survive, but perhaps we might evolve past that.

Scavengers and hunters will be born and survival of the fittest will be law once again.  There is no telling how we might succeed past the end, or if we do at all. If the Earth wasn't destroyed, then we all might have a chance.  If it is destroyed, we will just become another star and space dust to take our place in the sky.

After The End Of The World: Part II

In part one, I discussed different possibilities for survival.  Now, I will give you different scenarios that could possibly end the world through several parts.  Let's look a solar flashes, The Sun burns so hot that possibly between now and several thousands of years from now, it could blow up and burn out.

Imagine a solar flash so hot, that it is so close to the Earth that everything on the surface is burn and nothing is left but a wasteland of barren and desert land.  Even if you were able to find refuge so far underground that the radiation and the heat couldn't reach you, once you resurfaced, you would have nothing for food or even water.  So, we could still possibly find extinction.

There would no longer be fresh water or salt water bodies of water, so no fishing or drinking.  No forests or trees, so no oxygen.  No animals to hunt.  After the flashes finally stopped, there would be no Sun, so it would be eternally dark, plants couldn't regrow, it would be arctically cold.  This scenario seems to look grim, but it gives you something to think about if it does happen.

After The End Of The World: Part III

Imagine, if you will, what would happen if an asteroid the size of Texas hit the Earth at several hundred thousand miles an hour.  The impact into one of the oceans would cause a crater the size of the United States, in theory, which would cause worldwide tsunamis and empty out nearly every body of water on the planet.

The dust would settle in the sky blocking out the Sun, which in turn would cause plants and crops to stop growing.  This in turn, would make animals scarce due to starvation, so then we would starve.  The dust in the air would make it hard to breath, causing the inhabitants of the planet to suffocate.

We would fight to survive, but the is no telling how long it would take for life on Earth the dwindle down and become nonexistant.  Everything fights for survival, but some fights you just can't win.

After The End Of The World: Revelations

I know I only discussed a few scenarios in the three part series, but it was merely to open your eyes at what possible dangers could inflict severe consequence and possible annihilation of this planet.  Truth be told, I'm not ready to go yet and I don't think anyone is, so we, as the human race, need to do everything in our power to protect the planet.

I know it's not easy, but it IS our home.  Even the little thing like pollution could lead to a global greenhouse effect and escalate to global warming.  Every little bit help, and I know that the things that could easily obliterate this big rock can not be helped and our civilization might end in extinction, but we,as a superior race and possible sole inhabitants in this galaxy, will not go down without a fight.  Remember, it is not human nature to run and hide in the face of danger, if nothing else, history has kept us in touch with our survival instincts and I am definitely sure we will prevail no matter what comes our way.
